VITAS Healthcare Selects The Institute of Consultative Bioethics’ (ICB) EthAssist Learning Content Management System

Pittsburgh, PA - 11 November 2014:  The Institute of Consultative Bioethics (ICB) announced today that VITAS Healthcare, the nation’s leading provider of end-of-life care, selected the EthAssist™ learning content management system (LCMS) to deliver professional education and training programs to its employees nationally.

EthAssist LCMS is a patent pending e-knowledge solution that integrates external regulatory and reporting requirements with client policies and standards to provide customized training and on-the-job decision support for complex operating environments.  VITAS, which has more than 11,000 employees in facilities across 16 states, expects that more than 3,000 employees will begin using the system by the end of 2015. The company also plans to utilize EthAssist as part of its ongoing compliance training.
